A Spring Fling Sock Hop invites couples and singles to come out in 1950s costumes to support the Common Ground Community Center.
The Jefferson City Evening Rotary will feature Annette Driver as "The Entertainer" from 7-10 p.m. Saturday at the Truman Hotel Ballroom, 1510 Jefferson St.
The unique fundraiser will benefit the newly renovated Old Town Community Center at the corner of Clark Avenue and Atchison Street, occupied by First United Methodist Church and the HALO (Helping Art Liberate Orphans) Foundation. Prizes will be awarded for costumes.
