The Lincoln baseball team wasted a brilliant pitching effort by Chris Pfau while losing the first game of a doubleheader Saturday with Central Missouri, then lost by run rule in the second game.
In the first game at Lincoln Field, Pfau twirled a one-hitter and gave up just one earned run, but five errors by the Blue Tigers resulted in a 4-3 loss.
The Blue Tigers then managed just two hits in the nightcap while falling 11-0.
