Through five games, the formula for success has been pretty simple for the Helias Crusaders.
Don't turn the ball over, the Crusaders win. Turn it over a lot, the Crusaders lose. They turned it over just once Friday night against the Hickman Kewpies.
The formula still works.
"We did a great job of holding onto the ball," Helias coach Phil Pitts said after the Crusaders defeated the Kewpies 20-13 at Adkins Stadium. "Our kids really worked this week on not turning it over and it paid off tonight."
