SE Mo. man pleads not guilty in drug death

PERRYVILLE, Mo. (AP) - A southeast Missouri man has pleaded not guilty to charges stemming from a woman's recent drug overdose death.

The Southeast Missourian reports (http://bit.ly/rff1L2) 25-year-old Steven Harbour of Fredericktown pleaded not guilty Friday to charges of second-degree murder. The murder count alleges that Harbour supplied 20-year-old Nicole Jones with a deadly cocktail of painkillers, antidepressants and alcohol. Her body was found June 25 in a Perryville hotel.

A toxicology report showed she died of an alcohol and drug overdose.

Harbour was also granted a new judge in the case.
