Even though the tank was on empty, the Helias boys soccer team found just enough gas to make it to the end of a week-long trip. Unfortunately for the Crusaders, the strong finish came a little too late to produce a win.
The Crusaders, playing their fourth game in six days, spotted Fulton a 2-0 lead in the first half before falling 2-1 on Saturday at the 179 Soccer Park.
"We got into a hole but still had chances to score," Helias coach Chuck Register said. "It's been a long week with all the games and the Homecoming festivities.
