GALLATIN, Mo. (AP) - A 4-year-old northwest Missouri boy died after he rode his tricycle into the path of a pickup Friday in Daviess County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol says Tyler Bird died Friday on private property a mile north of Gallatin.
The patrol said he rode his tricycle into the path of a pickup truck driven by 34-year-old Cody Bird. The boy died later at a hospital.
The St. Joseph News-Press reports (http://bit.ly/swwu4Q) that the patrol was unable to confirm the relationship between the driver and the child.
