Two Jefferson City residents returned last week from a whirlwind trip to Joplin, where rebuilding efforts continue five months after a tornado destroyed nearly 7,000 homes in the city.
Amy Reed and Erica Gaw were among at least 10,000 others who volunteered for "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" and its most ambitious undertaking - to build seven homes in seven days.
The big reveal is scheduled for the show's 200th episode on Jan. 20.
