FULTON, Mo. - Stan Busken had always heard his family speak well of his maternal great-grandfather, August Emile Feltz. When Busken learned Feltz fought as a Union soldier in the Civil War, it only spurred on his interest.
Busken, 64, Liberty, has spent more than 30 years doing family genealogy research. In that time, he learned a great deal about Feltz, including that his relative was buried at the Fulton State Hospital cemetery in 1901.
