In regards to your opinion on March 12, Red Blue America. End for Federal Funding for Planned Parenthood?
I agree with social conservatives that we need to reduce the deficit. My guess is many women seeking an abortion from Planned Parenthood are on welfare. If they choose to not have an abortion or put their child up for adoption, won't that increase the deficit? As you all know it is very expensive to raise a child.
Pro life is so much more than just the abortion issue. It is the Relay for Life that raised money to find a cure for cancer. Our churches need money to help feed hungry children and lend support to victims of earthquakes, floods and tornados.
Doesn't Planned Parenthood help prevent many more abortions than they perform?
What would the world's population be without birth control pills?
