Preston Smith, principal owner of Business Information Services, will present an overview of demographic trends in Callaway and Cole counties from 10:30 a.m. to noon on Friday in Jefferson City.
The information will be presented in the Police Training Room at the Jefferson City Police Department at 401 Monroe St. It's open to the public.
The presentation is a follow-up to the demographic study Smith presented to the Jefferson City School Board earlier this year. He will also present analysis of the 2010 Census data that was recently released and information on some of today's major demographic trends.
Smith's firm is based in Blue Springs, Mo., and performs demographic analysis primarily for public school districts throughout the Midwest.
