Snow hits winter-weary Mid-Missourians again

Although not as bad as last week's double-digit snowfall, Wednesday morning's snow storm caused plenty of problems for winter-weary Mid-Missourians.

Law enforcement reported numerous slideoffs or spinouts because of slick conditions on roads and streets. But most, if not all, did not involve any injuries to drivers and passengers.

"I don't think this will be the last time this year that we go through this," said Cole County Public Works Director Larry Benz, who noted that last week's storm could end up costing the county close to $200,000.
