The Jefferson City Lady Jays trailed the Hickman Kewpies by double-digits before they got on the scoreboard Tuesday night at Fleming Fieldhouse. When the final buzzer sounded, they'd cut that deficit to one.
"We can go back to 50, 60 plays in the game," Lady Jays coach Shane Meyer said of the 47-46 loss to the Kewpies. "We could nit-pick, point fingers. But if there's a finger to be pointed, it should be pointed at me. I didn't have us ready to play after the layoff.
