The Lincoln Blue Tigers women's basketball team was held scoreless for two minutes late in the second half Thursday night and ended up dropping a 63-58 decision to Missouri Southern in MIAA conference action at Jason Gym.
Lincoln (2-17 overall, 1-14 MIAA) fell behind early, as Missouri Southern (12-7, 10-5) raced out to a 14-5 lead. The Blue Tigers responded by outscoring the Lions 23-15 to trail 29-28 at the break.
Vivian Essuon scored 12 of her game-high 21 points in the first half for the Blue Tigers. She also pulled down 14 rebounds.
