3rd man pleads in robbery of slain football fan

COLUMBIA, Mo. (AP) - A third suspect has pleaded guilty in the deadly holdup of a Kansas man visiting Columbia to watch his cousin play a college football game.

Twenty-two-year-old Aaron Hobson, of Wichita, was the cousin of University of Missouri defensive back Trey Hobson. Aaron Hobson was driving through the parking lot of a convenience store last Oct. 23 when several people approached and demanded money.

The Columbia Daily Tribune reports (http://bit.ly/rcMubU) that 21-year-old Deshon Houston, of Columbia, pleaded guilty Monday to a reduced charge of second-degree robbery. Houston had been charged with second-degree murder.

Two other people, including the suspected triggerman, pleaded guilty earlier. Five others are awaiting trial.

Aaron Hobson had been attending Kansas City, Kan., Community College, but was planning to return to Prairie View A&M University in Texas.
