Lincoln righthander Clair Lorenz was named the Mid-America Athletic Association pitcher of the week.
Lorenz tossed a one-hitter and struck out eight in a complete game victory against Pittsburgh State on April 11. She struck out three and posted another complete-game victory against Missouri Southern on April 13.
Lorenz allowed just one run in 5 2/3 innings of relief in the second game of the doubleheader against Southern.
