ST. LOUIS (AP) - Alexander Stoll connected with Jared Bruns on a 2-point conversion pass in overtime Friday to give Valle Catholic a 22-21 win over Westran in the Missouri Class 1 football title game.

It was the 10th state championship for the Warriors (14-1), tying Valle Catholic with Jefferson City for the most-ever team titles. Westran (14-1) had beaten Valle Catholic 21-14 on Oct. 2.

Westran had the ball first in overtime. Tyler Hunt ran 14 yards for a touchdown, and Tyler Albur's kick made it 21-14.

But Stoll and Bruns connected on a 23-yard scoring pass to get within a point. The Warriors chose to go for two, and Stoll hit Bruns over the middle on a quick pass.
