Jefferson City native James Keown was known in Mid-Missouri for his ability to talk on the radio.
But in Massachusetts these days, he's just another prison inmate, serving a life sentence ordered two years ago by a jury that had just heard nearly three weeks of testimony and evidence in Keown's murder trial.
"Lie After Lie: The True Story of a Master of Deception, Betrayal and Murder" was written by New England-based author Lara Bricker, who spent more than two years researching and writing the book.
Bricker said that Waltham Police Officer Jon Bailey, the lead investigator, spent more than four years on the Keown case.
But many of the details he learned about James Keown's background were not considered admissible at the trial - so readers will learn them for the first time.
