Missouri US Rep. Luetkemeyer wins 2nd term

U.S. Rep. Blaine Luetkemeyer has won a second term in Congress, representing Missouri's 9th District.

The 58-year-old Republican from St. Elizabeth defeated Democratic challenger Chris Dwyer, a 43-year-old stay-at-home dad.

Luetkemeyer was first elected in 2008 as his predecessor, Republican Kenny Hulshof, ran unsuccessfully for governor.

Luetkemeyer is a member of the House Small Business Committee, Agriculture Committee and Oversight and Government Reform Committee.
