EUREKA, Mo. (AP) - Police in St. Louis County have been investigating a shooting death at a state park.
Police said they responded to a call of shots fired at the Route 66 State Park on Tuesday afternoon. A park ranger found a man in his 50s had been shot to death in an apparent homicide.
Police said in a news release they were looking for an older model, dark Camaro that was seen leaving the area. Police said it's unclear if the people in the car were involved or witnessed the shooting.
Police said no other details about the shooting were available.
Route 66 State Park is located about 30 miles southwest of the city of St. Louis.
