Four injured in Callaway County wreck

A Jefferson City man was seriously injured in a one-vehicle crash Saturday in Callaway County.

The Missouri Highway Patrol reports Brandon L. Maresh, 25, was transported by helicopter ambulance to University Hospital in Columbia for treatment following the 4:25 p.m. wreck on County Road 389 north of 388.

The car he was driving ran off the roadway and overturned after traveling too fast around a curve, the patrol said.

Three passengers in the vehicle -- Jaz. C. Johnson, 25, and Stephanie Kerschner, 26, both of Jefferson City, and Mason R. Anderson, 21, of Holts Summit -- received minor injuries but refused treatment at the scene of the wreck.

Neither the driver nor the passengers were wearing seat belts at the time of the crash, the patrol said.
