Minor injuries received in Friday wrecks

A Vandalia woman was hurt in a one vehicle crash Friday evening in Cole County.

Missouri Highway Patrol reports show the crash occurred on around 6:20 p.m. on Westbound U.S. 54, just west of Old Bass Road.

Loretta Marshall, 49, went off the road and into a treeline. She was wearing a seat belt and was treated for minor injuries.

A Jefferson City man was among those injured in a three vehicle crash Friday afternoon in Maries County.

Patrol reports show the crash occurred around 4:45 p.m. on U.S. 63, 6 miles north of Vienna.

Vehicles driven by Desteny Brown, 19, of Dixon, and James Archer, 51, of Dixon, were stopped in traffic, waiting for a vehicle to turn left, when a vehicle driven by Justin Watson, 32, of Kirksville, struck the rear of Brown's vehicle, pushing it into the rear of Archer's vehicle.

Archer and Watson had no reported injuries. Brown and one of her passengers, Timothy Breuer, 28, of Jefferson City, were treated for minor injuries while another passenger, Wayne Langrine, 44 of Dixon, was treated for moderate injuries.

All those involved were wearing seat belts.
