Probation granted in burglary at McDonald's

A Jefferson City man was placed on five years of supervised probation for pleading guilty to one count of second-degree burglary in connection with a break-in at McDonald's on Missouri Boulevard in January 2016.

Cole County Presiding Judge Pat Joyce also ordered Antonio L. Moore, 24, to pay $3,400 in restitution.

More than $3,000 was stolen from the safe within the business, according to police reports. Police also said Moore damaged the video surveillance system at McDonald's to elude investigators.
