Nothing was found after a bomb threat was called into a Jefferson City hotel Monday afternoon.
The call came in to the Econo Lodge on Jefferson Street at 12:29 p.m. Monday, according to police reports.
At the time only three rooms were occupied, so those guests and hotel staff were evacuated.
The Capitol Police bomb-sniffing dog was brought in to investigate. After two hours nothing was found, and everyone was allowed to re-enter the hotel.
Authorities said there was no indication as to who called in the threat or why.
