A Plattsburg man has been charged after a weekend chase with Miller County authorities.
Brandon Mencik, 36, is charged with resisting arrest, according to Miller County Sheriff's Department reports.
The pursuit occurred Saturday, when Miller County authorities were notified by police in Crocker who had been chasing Mencik on northbound Missouri 17 because he was found to have felony warrants for his arrest in Clinton County.
When Miller County deputies picked up the pursuit, Mencik was driving at more than 100 mph just north of Iberia.
A Missouri Highway Patrol trooper deployed spike strips and deflated Mencik's tires. After traveling another mile, authorities stopped Mencik and took him into custody.
