Osage drug bust nets two arrests

Two people were taken into custody Wednesday after a drug bust in Osage County.

The Mustang Drug Task Force and the Osage County Sheriff's Office executed a search warrant on Old Vienna Road in Freeburg, according to sheriff's department reports.

Deputies located 14 meth lab bottles in the basement of the house, along with ingredients to manufacture methamphetamine - including multiple open boxes of pseudophedrine, which is the main ingredient in meth. The deputies also located a substance consistent with methamphetamine along with numerous items of drug paraphernalia, digital scales and packaging used for the sale of methamphetamine.

The occupants of the residence Jason Robertson, 37, and Melissa Hladky, 36, both of Freeburg, were taken into custody. Both face charges for manufacturing methamphetamine. More charges and arrests related to the investigation are pending.
