Mid-Missouri residents injured in several Monday accidents

Two people were hurt in a two-vehicle crash Monday afternoon in Cole County.

Missouri Highway Patrol reports show the crash occurred on southbound Missouri 17 at Tunnel Street around 1:55 p.m.

Thomas Coan, 86, of Eugene, failed to yield to a vehicle driven by Randy Richmond, 67, of Waterloo, Iowa, who was making a left turn. The front of Richmond's vehicle struck the side of Coan's vehicle.

Coan had no reported injuries, while Richmond and his passenger, Janet Richmond, 65, of Waterloo, Iowa, were both treated for minor injuries. All those involved were wearing seat belts.

An Eldon woman was hurt in a one-vehicle crash Monday afternoon in Miller County.

Patrol reports show the crash occurred on westbound U.S. 54, a half-mile west of Missouri 87, around 2:04 p.m.

Angie Bryan, 57, went off the right side of the road, slid down a steep embankment and struck a ditch.

Bryan, who was wearing a seat belt, was treated for moderate injuries.

One person was hurt in a two-vehicle crash Monday afternoon in Miller County.

Patrol reports show the crash occurred on Missouri 52, just west of Catfish Road, around 3:18 p.m.

Paul Howard, 87, of Tuscumbia, pulled into the path of Olivia Difenbach, 17, of Tuscumbia. Difenbach lost control and overturned.

Both drivers had no reported injuries, but Difenbach's passenger, Elizabeth Difenbach, 53, of Tuscumbia, was treated for moderate injuries. Howard was not wearing a seat belt, but the Difenbachs were.

One person was hurt in a one-vehicle crash Monday night in Cole County.

Patrol reports show the crash occurred on U.S. 54 at Monticello Road at 9:45 p.m.

Dona Ambrose, 60, of Lebanon, hit a deer and came to a stop.

Ambrose, who was wearing a seat belt, was treated for minor injuries.
