One arrested after JC drug bust

On Thursday at around 6 p.m., members of the Jefferson City Police Department's SWAT Team served a narcotics search warrant in the 100 block of Doehla Drive based on an investigation by the MUSTANG Drug Task Force.

During the service of that warrant, one ounce of crack cocaine was seized (street value of approximately $3,000) along with $10,000 in cash and packaging material commonly associated with the sales of narcotics.  Within the residence there were a total of three adults and two juveniles, one of whom was an infant.  

As a result of the warrant, Marty Love, a 44 year-old Jefferson City male, was arrested on charges of 1st Degree Trafficking of Narcotics, and taken to the Cole County Jail pending charges.

No one was injured during the service of the warrant.
