Out of 2,000 submissions, Homemaker Health Care, a local United Way agency, is a finalist for a $25,000 State Farm Neighborhood Assist Grant.
Through Homemaker Health Care's outreach program, the agency has provided temporary use of assistive medical equipment and education to people in need and is seeking to purchase a new van with the grant.
