Charles House, 27, is charged in Cole County with leaving the scene of a motor vehicle accident.
The crash occurred at Rackers Equipment Company on Route CC.
House crashed into the business causing heavy damage estimated at $45,000.
House admitted to driving and said he and a passenger fled the scene because they were afraid of being arrested.
