Advanced tickets on sale for Missouri State Fair

Discounted admission and carnival tickets for the 2019 Missouri State Fair are on sale through Aug. 7 for the annual event, which is slated for Aug. 8-18 in Sedalia.

The fair, which has a theme this year of "Come Home," has partnered with Break Time Convenience Stores, Orscheln Farm and Home Stores, and Menards, where advanced tickets can be purchased in person. The cost for advance tickets is $8 for an adult gate admission ticket, $21 for an unlimited carnival ride wristband, which is good for one day of unlimited rides; and $29 for an unlimited daily deal, which includes one day of unlimited carnival rides and adult admission.

Tickets can also be purchased online at mostatefair.com for advance carnival ride wristbands and unlimited daily deal, or etix.com for advance adult gate admission tickets. Advance adult gate admission tickets also will be available at the Missouri State Fair Box Office at the fairgrounds. The advance unlimited carnival ride wristband can only be purchased online and at Menards.

During the fair, wristbands will cost $26 for Monday through Thursday and $32 for Friday through Sunday, with special pricing Aug. 13 and on the final day of the fair, Aug. 18. Family packs also will be available for purchase, with four tickets for $5, 25 tickets for $25 and 55 tickets for $50.

Because of flooding throughout Missouri, the fair has waived all late fees for entries, though the final, late deadlines will be enforced. To find out more about the final deadlines or to view the full fair schedule, visit mostatefair.com.
