Residents of Wardsville will soon have a new place to get low-priced items.
A Dollar General is slated to open in the early fall of this year, depending on when construction is completed.
Angela Petkovic, spokesperson for Dollar General, said the store will employ six to 10, depending on the needs of the store.
The new store will be located at 1523 Ashbury Way in Wardsville.
Currently the closest Dollar General to Wardsville is about 15 minutes away at 7723 Heritage Highway in Jefferson City.
