K's Consignment Shop at 722 Jefferson St. in Jefferson City held an open house Saturday to showcase its recent expansion.
Owner Melissa Tynes opened a 500-square-foot addition about a month ago because business was booming, she said.
K's Consignment Shop sells used women's clothing and accessories including dresses, purses, shoes and home decor. Tynes' mother, Martha Kremer, opened the shop in 2006, and Tynes bought the store about two years ago.
"Business was good enough that I needed more space," Tynes said. "It was busting at the seams."
