SEDALIA -- The Blair Oaks Lady Falcons concluded their five-game road trip Wednesday with a 2-1 loss to the Sedalia Sacred Heart Lady Gremlins.
Hattie Meldrum scored the Lady Falcons’ goal 10 minutes into the first half. Lexi Gonzalez was credited with the assist.
Blair Oaks had 18 shots in the game and seven corner kicks. Kylie Hickman finished with five saves.
Blair Oaks (3-4) returns home tonight to host Southern Boone for its Tri-County Conference opener. The varsity game begins at 5:30 p.m., followed by one half for the JV game.
In Wednesday’s JV game, Blair Oaks dropped a 1-0 decision to Sacred Heart. Anita Norred finished with six saves for the Lady Falcons.
