Prep Baseball: South Callaway 9, Centralia 3

CENTRALIA -- The South Callaway Bulldogs earned their third win in four games Friday, beating the Centralia Panthers 9-3.

South Callaway’s six-run third inning was highlighted by a two-run double from Dane Daugherty, one of five hits in the inning. The Bulldogs scored their other three runs in the fifth.

Daugherty and Owen Rees each had two RBI, while Ethan Edwards had two of the Bulldogs’ seven hits, including a double.

Edwards was also the winning pitcher. In five innings, he allowed three runs on four hits with two walks and seven strikeouts.

Tucker Jones pitched two scoreless innings of relief, walking one and striking out four.

South Callaway (6-8) plays Monday at Mexico.
