The Jefferson City Lady Jays jumped out to a 2-0 halftime lead Monday on their way to a 2-1 victory against the Rolla Lady Bulldogs at the 179 Soccer Park.
Mackenzie Lochhead got the Lady Jays on the board first, assisted by Greta Haarmann. Kenzie Gourley made it 2-0 later in the half on an unassisted goal.
Rolla’s goal came with :04 remaining in the contest.
Jefferson City (15-4-1) is back in action Wednesday against the Helias Lady Crusaders. The JV game will start at 5 p.m., with the varsity contest to begin around 6:45 p.m.
