ROGERSVILLE, Mo. - The Republic Tigers outscored Helias 17-8 in the fourth quarter to win 56-46 on Thursday in the Logan-Rogersville Tournament.
Republic led 14-13 after the first quarter, but Helias took a 25-23 lead into halftime. Republic took a 39-38 lead into the fourth quarter.
Landon Harrison and Nathan Bax each scored 12 points for Helias, while Adam Bax added nine points and had 11 rebounds.
Tristan Ollar scored a game-high 17 points for the Tigers and Cameron Doke had 10.
The Helias JV beat Republic 47-45.
Alex Buschjost led Helias with 14 points. Drew Boessen and Nick Brandt scored 12 and 11, respectively.
The Helias JV will play Waynesville at 6 p.m. today with the varsity game to follow.
