IBERIA - Tuscumbia defeated St. Elizabeth 54-50 on Friday to advance to the fifth-place game of the Iberia Tournament.
Nathan Simmons scored 12 points to lead Tuscumbia. Ben Wilson and David Huddleston each scored 10. Tyler Patterson had a team-high 11 rebounds.
Tuscumbia outscored St. Elizabeth in every quarter - 17-15, 12-6, 13-12 and 12-7.
The Lions (12-2) play the fifth-place game against Crocker at 5 p.m. Wednesday.
