ST. JAMES, Mo. - The Blair Oaks Falcons fell 80-78 to Licking in the third-place game of the St. James Tournament on Saturday.
Blair Oaks led 31-23 after a high-scoring first quarter and took a 57-47 lead into halftime. The Falcons led 66-61 with one quarter to play.
C.J. Closser tossed in 20 points to lead the Falcons, while Cody Alexander added 19. Kellen Griep chipped in with 12.
Blair Oaks (11-5) will play Tuesday at Southern Boone.
