The eastbound U.S. 50 off-ramp to Clark Avenue in Jefferson City will close at 8:30 a.m. Monday so workers can finish building a sound wall there. The ramp will remain closed through 6 p.m. Thursday.

The off-ramp was originally scheduled to close from 8:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. daily until Feb. 12 to complete the sound wall work, but Missouri Department of Transportation officials said closing the ramp entirely will allow the contractor to finish this portion of the project in a shorter amount of time.

The closure could be delayed by bad weather.

The sound wall is being built as part of the Lafayette Street interchange project.
