WHITFIELD, Mo. - The Blair Oaks wrestling team picked up a win and a loss Friday in a tri-dual at Whitfield.
The Falcons fell 49-27 to Whitfield and defeated Vianney 45-20.
Against Whitfield, Dalton Bridges won by fall at 3:04 at 120 pounds. Bo Thomas (132) won a 9-3 decision, Scott Farley (195) won by fall in 4:12, and Chance Cumpton (285) got a pin in 1:16. Frankie Falotico won by forfeit at 145 pounds.
Against Vianney, Jayce Griggs won a 9-2 decision at 106 pounds. Bridges (120) won a 6-2 decision, Ben Thomas (135) won a 4-1 decision, Falotico (145) won by fall in 3:44, Paul Karsten (175) won by fall in 1:09, Riley Boeckman (182) won a 10-3 decision, Farley (195) won by fall in 3:15 and Cumpton (285) won a 1-0 decision. Zach Wieberg won by forfeit at 113, as did Logan Moore at 220.
Blair Oaks (14-4) wrestles next week in districts at Seneca.
