College Softball: Four Lincoln players honored by MIAA

Four Lincoln Blue Tigers were honorable mention selections on the All-MIAA softball team released Thursday.

Jessica Wolken earned the honor for the second straight season. The senior was named at second base and set a school record by starting 55 games at the position, totaling 11 RBI and 10 runs scored.

Hope McLeod, a junior, was named to the outfield. McLeod started every game for the Blue Tigers, leading the team with 42 hits and 16 runs scored.

Madison Ragar was selected as a pitcher. The sophomore had three wins and led the team with 56 strikeouts.

Tori Nienhueser made the team at shortstop. She also started every game this season, hitting .255 with a team-high 19 RBI to go along with 39 hits and 15 runs scored.
