COLUMBIA, Mo. — The Hickman Kewpies edged the Jefferson City Lady Jays 2-1 in soccer Wednesday.
After Hickman scored an early goal to take the lead, Jefferson City tied it midway through the first half on a score by Tayler LePage. Morgan Jordan earned an assist on the goal and the game was tied at 1 at the half.
Hickman got the game-winner five minutes into the second half.
Jefferson City (13-4) will play Friday and Saturday at the Tournament of Champions in Burlington, Iowa.
There was no JV game Wednesday.
