Prep Baseball: Blair Oaks JV splits

HALLSVILLE, Mo. — The Blair Oaks Falcons finished 1-1 on Saturday in the Hallsville JV Tournament.

Blair Oaks defeated Fulton 12-7 to start the day.

Garrett Welschmeyer had three hits while scoring two runs and driving in two. Mason Gipe and Tyler Swehle had two hits each. Gipe scored three times and had two RBI. Nolan Hair also drove in two runs.

Bryce Kempker was the winning pitcher, while Tyler Gish got the save.

Blair Oaks then fell 11-1 to Boonville.

Colton Hoelscher drove in Scott Farley for the Blair Oaks run. Tanner Abbott was the losing pitcher.

Blair Oaks (6-3) will face Hallsville on Monday.
