Dear Editor:
A thief or thieves entered our property on April 2 and without permission removed a flag. This flag was very special to me.
I am a retired veteran and I know what this flag stands for and the sacrifices that were made and continue to be made for the honor and privilege of displaying this flag. Whether you know or don't know or don't care that is your business. However, when you slither upon property and remove the American flag it becomes my business.
This theft was reported to the police. I have purchased a new flag and will continue to proudly fly the flag daily as I always do.
