WASHINGTON (AP) - Ethan Finlay and Kei Kamara scored and the Columbus Crew beat D.C. United 2-1 on Saturday night to clinch a playoff berth.
Tyson Wahl outdueled Sean Franklin for a ball deep in United territory and poked it to Finlay, who shielded a defender inside the 6-yard box before blasting a left-footer past Bill Hamid to give Columbus (13-9-8) a 1-0 lead in the 27th minute.
Kamara, who leads the MLS with 21 goals, raced behind the defense and put away a pass from Tony Tchani to make it 2-0 about 2 minutes into the second half.
A hand ball in the box by Chris Klute set up a penalty kick by Chris Rolfe that pulled D.C. United (13-11-6) within one in the 68th, but a later goal called off due to an offside call and two other opportunities were just off the mark.
IMPACT 3, REVOLUTION 0
MONTREAL (AP) - Didier Drogba, Johan Venegas and Dilly Duka scored and 10-man Montreal beat New England n a driving rainstorm to end the Revolution's winning streak at six games.
The Impact (10-11-6) are undefeated in four games since Mauro Biello replaced Frank Klopas as coach. They are sixth in the Eastern Conference, two points ahead of New York City FC for the final playoff spot.
New England (13-10-7), which moved into first place in the Eastern Conference with a win over the New York Red Bulls on Wednesday, also had an eight-game unbeaten streak end.
Montreal went down a man in the 72nd minute when Marco Donadel, already on a yellow card, slid into defender Andrew Farrell. But only 4 minutes later, Drogba slipped a pass to Duka on the left side to pad the Montreal lead. It was the first MLS assist for Drogba, who has four goals in four games.
NEW YORK CITY FC 3, EARTHQUAKES 2
NEW YORK (AP) - Ned Grabavoy scored two second-half goals and added an assist to help New York City FC beat San Jose.
New York City (9-14-7) has won consecutive games since snapping a three-game losing skid.
San Jose (11-12-7) is winless in their last four games and remains one point out of the final postseason spot in the Western Conference.
Grabavoy scored in the 51st and 63rd minute for his first two goals of the season. David Villa scored another goal with an assist by Grabavoy two minutes later and New York City lead 3-0.
Quincy Amarikwa scored in the 72nd minute for the Earthquakes. Chris Wondolowski scored off a penalty kick in the 76th minute to cap the scoring.
REAL SALT LAKE 3, GALAXY 0
SANDY, Utah (AP) - Devon Sandoval scored twice, Javier Morales converted a penalty kick and Real Salt Lake beat Los Angeles.
Sandoval opened the scoring in the third minute with a left-footed shot from the left side of the 6-yard box to inside the far post, finishing Aaron Maund's headed pass. Sandoval capped the scoring in the 53rd, stretching up for a header from the middle of the box off Juan Manuel Martinez's cross.
Morales converted from the spot in the 28th minute for RSL (10-11-8), which kept its playoff hopes alive by moving within three points of sixth-place Portland in the Western Conference. The Galaxy (13-9-8) remained tied with FC Dallas for second place.

VANCOUVER, British Columbia (AP) - Andreas Ivanschitz and Gonzalo Pineda scored their first goals of the season, Obafemi Martins added his 13th and the Seattle Sounders beat the Vancouver Whitecaps 3-0 on Saturday to wrap up their fourth Cascadia Cup title.
Seattle (14-13-3) improved to 3-0-1 in its last four games.
The Cascadia Cup is a regional head-to-head competition between Seattle, Vancouver and the Portland Timbers. The Whitecaps needed a victory to claim their third straight trophy in the competition.
Vancouver dropped to 15-11-3.
TORONTO FC 3, RAPIDS 1
TORONTO (AP) - Sebastian Giovinco scored two goals and set up a third in Toronto FC's victory over Colorado in a game that began in sunny conditions and ended with sheets of rain billowing in.
Giovinco has 19 goals in 28 games in his first MLS season.
Damien Perquis also scored for Toronto ((3-6-1).
Dillon Powers scored for Colorado (8-11-10).
ORLANDO CITY 1, FIRE 0
BRIDGEVIEW, Ill. (AP) - Bryan Rochez scored in the 86th minute and Orlando City beat Chicago.
Orlando's scoring opportunity started with a Fire giveaway on Razvan Cocis's errant back pass. Brek Shea retrieved it for Orlando (9-13-8) on the right flank and crossed it in to Darwin Ceren, who laid it off for Rochez's quick-hitter.
Tally Hall made a pair of crucial saves late in the first half and earned his fifth shutout of the season. Jon Busch had four saves in place of the injured Sean Johnson and narrowly missed a shutout for Chicago (7-16-6).
