EUGENE - The Eugene Lady Eagles defeated California 13-4 on Monday.
Paige Rademann pitched all seven innings for the Lady Eagles. Rademann did not give up an earned run and was tabbed with four unearned runs in the fifth inning. She had eight strikeouts, gave up two hits and walked one batter.
Eugene's Nola Polly and Tavia Matthews both had two hits and two RBI.
The Eugene junior varisty squad (2-0) won 7-0 in three innings. Taylor Hogard gave up no hits and had three strikeouts in the circle for the Lady Eagles.
