BELLE, Mo. - The Calvary Lady Lions went 4-0 to take the Belle Invitational title on Saturday.
Calvary (19-2) posted pool play wins over Centralia (25-10, 25-21), Dixon (25-9, 25-19) and Linn (25-14, 25-20).
They defeated Bourbon - the other pool play winner - in the championship. The Lady Lions clinched the title with a score of 25-15 in both games.
Grace Smith served 24 service points, dished out 26 assists and had 25 digs. Rebecca Thompson had 29 service points, 25 assists and six aces. Kara Bernskoetter served up seven aces with 21 service points and posted 26 digs. Olivia Bextend directed 14 kills and five aces. Katie Goodin had 11 kills, while Kyra Wiegers contributed 23 digs.
The Lady Lions play next at Montgomery County on Tuesday.
