St. Louis names first-ever bike/pedestrian coordinator

ST. LOUIS (AP) - The city of St. Louis has its first-ever bike and pedestrian coordinator.

The St. Louis Post-Dispatch (http://bit.ly/1MJBMls ) reports that Jamie Wilson, a traffic engineer and president of a transportation engineering firm CBB, will be paid $59,774 for the new job that will include bicycle and pedestrian projects, and making streets more safe for those on foot and on bikes.

He will be paid $59,774 annually and starts work Monday.
