3 die in double homicide, suicide in north-central Missouri

MOBERLY, Mo. (AP) - Three people have died in north-central Missouri in what authorities are describing as a double homicide and a suicide.

The Randolph County Sheriff's Department said in a news release that deputies responded early Saturday to a report of a shooting at a residence near Moberly.

KOMU-TV (http://bit.ly/1QW0LFe) reports that one victim was already dead when deputies arrived and the second victim died at a Moberly hospital.

The release said the suspect was found at the scene suffering from a self-inflicted gunshot wound and died at a Columbia hospital.

No names were immediately released, pending notification of relatives.
