Capital Mall in Jefferson City welcomed another new tenant last week when Xtreme Trendz opened its relocated store there on Tuesday.
Xtreme Trendz, a clothing and shoe store that sells action sports brands including Fox, DC, Hurley and Quiksilver, has been in business in Jefferson City since June 2013 in the West Stadium Plaza at 744 W. Stadium Blvd. Another tenant of that plaza, Slackers, will relocate to Capital Mall this month.
"This is a bigger, better opportunity," said Xtreme Trendz owner Bob Wieger.
The store's new location is in the mall's JCPenney wing, between JCPenney and Kitchen Collection and across from Ross Dress for Less.
Wieger said the store's inventory remains the same, except it has been expanded for the holiday shopping season.
Xtreme Trendz will be open during Capital Mall's regular hours.
